Artwork Policy

At DTF Transfers Era ("DTFera," "we," "our," or "us"), we are committed to producing high-quality custom printed products using artwork provided by our customers. This Artwork Policy explains customer responsibilities, artwork requirements, ownership rights, print expectations, and our production practices.

By uploading artwork, placing an order, or using our printing services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Artwork Policy.

1. Customer Artwork Ownership
Customers retain ownership of all artwork, logos, trademarks, graphics, photographs, designs, and other creative content submitted to DTF Transfers Era.

DTF Transfers Era does not claim ownership of customer-submitted artwork or intellectual property. Our role is to print the artwork provided by our customers in accordance with their order.

2. Customer Responsibility for Submitted Artwork
By submitting artwork to DTF Transfers Era, you represent and warrant that you own the artwork or have obtained all necessary rights, licenses, permissions, and authorizations required to reproduce, print, and use the submitted materials.

You are solely responsible for all artwork submitted with your order, including its content, quality, spelling, sizing, colors, transparency, placement, and overall accuracy.

DTF Transfers Era is not responsible for customer-submitted errors, including but not limited to incorrect spelling, design mistakes, missing elements, incorrect dimensions, or artwork uploaded in error.

3. Copyright, Trademark & Intellectual Property
Customers are solely responsible for ensuring that submitted artwork does not violate the copyrights, trademarks, publicity rights, privacy rights, or other intellectual property rights of any individual or organization.

DTF Transfers Era reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse, cancel, or remove any order that we believe may violate applicable laws, intellectual property rights, or our company policies.

If any claim, dispute, or legal action arises from customer-submitted artwork, the customer accepts responsibility for the submitted content to the extent permitted by applicable law.

4. AI-Generated Artwork
DTF Transfers Era accepts customer-submitted AI-generated artwork.

Customers remain responsible for ensuring they have the legal right to use, reproduce, and print any AI-generated content submitted for production. Customers should also ensure that AI-generated artwork does not infringe upon the rights of others or violate applicable laws.

5. File Requirements
For the best possible print quality, we recommend submitting:

  • PNG files with transparent backgrounds.
  • High-resolution artwork (300 DPI recommended at final print size).
  • Artwork sized correctly for the intended print.
  • Clean, print-ready files that do not require editing.
  • Files free of unnecessary backgrounds, borders, or unwanted elements.

While other file formats may be accepted in certain situations, customers are responsible for ensuring that submitted artwork is suitable for printing.

6. Artwork Quality & Print Results
DTF Transfers Era prints artwork exactly as submitted by the customer. The quality of the finished print depends largely on the quality of the artwork provided.

While we may notify customers if we notice obvious issues such as extremely low-resolution images, missing transparency, or other visible artwork concerns, we are under no obligation to inspect, edit, redesign, or correct customer-submitted files before production.

Customers are encouraged to carefully review all artwork before placing an order to ensure it meets their expectations.

7. Colors, Gradients & Print Variations
DTF Transfers Era strives to produce vibrant, professional-quality prints using commercial printing equipment and premium materials.

Actual printed colors may vary from what appears on computer monitors, mobile devices, tablets, proofs, or mockups due to differences in display settings, garment materials, lighting conditions, ink behavior, and the printing and heat application process.

Minor variations in color, placement, sizing, trimming, gradients, alignment, or overall appearance are considered normal within commercial printing tolerances and do not constitute manufacturing defects.

8. Artwork Modifications
Unless specifically requested and agreed to in writing, DTF Transfers Era does not redesign, recreate, vectorize, recolor, remove backgrounds, correct spelling, resize artwork, or otherwise modify customer-submitted files.

If artwork modification services are requested and accepted, additional charges, production time, or customer approval may be required before printing begins.

9. Proofs & Customer Approval
When digital proofs or artwork approvals are provided, customers are responsible for carefully reviewing all details before approving production.

Once artwork has been approved by the customer, DTF Transfers Era is not responsible for errors that were visible on the approved proof, including spelling, sizing, placement, colors, or other customer-approved content.

Not all orders include proofs. Unless otherwise agreed, artwork may be printed directly from the files submitted by the customer.

10. Production Photos, Videos & Social Media
As part of our normal business operations, DTF Transfers Era may photograph or record our equipment, production process, completed transfers, finished garments, packaging, or workspace for quality control, educational content, portfolio examples, website content, advertising, and social media.

Customer artwork, logos, or printed products may appear incidentally while documenting our production process. DTF Transfers Era does not claim ownership of customer artwork and does not reproduce or sell customer artwork except as necessary to complete the customer's order.

If you prefer that your order, artwork, or finished products not appear in our production photos or videos, please notify us in writing before production begins. We will make reasonable efforts to honor your request whenever practical.

11. Artwork Storage
DTF Transfers Era does not guarantee long-term storage of customer artwork, gang sheets, design files, or print-ready files.

Customers are responsible for maintaining backup copies of all artwork submitted to us. Although we may temporarily retain artwork for production purposes, future reorders may require customers to upload their artwork again.

DTF Transfers Era reserves the right to remove customer artwork from our systems at any time without prior notice.

12. Refusal of Artwork
DTF Transfers Era reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse, cancel, delay, or remove any artwork or order that we believe may violate applicable laws, infringe upon the rights of others, contain unlawful content, or otherwise conflict with our business policies.

Our decision to accept or reject artwork shall not be interpreted as a legal determination regarding ownership or intellectual property rights.

13. Limitation of Liability
DTF Transfers Era shall not be responsible for losses, damages, costs, or claims arising from customer-submitted artwork, including but not limited to copyright disputes, trademark claims, design errors, low-quality files, customer approval of artwork, or improper use of printed products.

Our maximum liability relating to any artwork submitted shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

14. Policy Updates
DTF Transfers Era reserves the right to modify or update this Artwork Policy at any time without prior notice.

Any revisions become effective immediately upon being posted on DTFera.com. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Artwork Policy.
