What Is a DTF Gang Sheet?
A DTF gang sheet is one sheet of transfer film containing multiple designs. Instead of ordering every logo, label, sleeve print, or full-front graphic as a separate transfer, you arrange several designs together on one sheet.
Gang sheets are useful for clothing brands, print shops, event orders, sports apparel, business uniforms, merchandise, and anyone who regularly needs multiple transfers. You may repeat one design many times, combine several different designs, or mix different print sizes on the same layout.
You are ordering printed DTF transfers—not finished garments. Your gang sheet will arrive printed on transfer film. You will cut the individual designs apart and apply them to compatible garments using a heat press.

How the Gang Sheet Builder Works

Prepare Your Artwork Before Building
The builder arranges the artwork you provide, but it cannot replace missing image detail or automatically correct every file problem. Starting with properly prepared artwork gives you a faster building process and a cleaner final result.

- Transparent PNG files for most raster artwork
- 300 DPI at the intended final print dimensions
- Clean edges without unwanted background pixels
- Artwork cropped close to the visible design
- Correct spelling, colors, and orientation
- Clear file names for different sizes and placements
Avoid these file problems
- Low-resolution screenshots or website thumbnails
- Unwanted white or colored background boxes
- Blurry artwork enlarged beyond its usable quality
- Extremely thin details or unreadably small text
- Large transparent margins around the design
- Outdated or incorrectly labeled file versions
Changing a file to "300 DPI" does not create missing detail. A small or blurry image remains low quality when enlarged. Use the cleanest and largest original artwork available.

Transparent Space Can Make Your Designs Print Too Small
The visible artwork and the total file canvas are not always the same size. A PNG may contain large transparent margins around the actual design. When that file is sized in the builder, the empty space can count toward the overall dimensions and make the visible artwork smaller than expected.
Correct
Crop close to the visible design
Remove unnecessary transparent space before uploading. The design should fill its canvas naturally without cutting off shadows, outlines, or important details.
Avoid oversized empty margins
Do not upload a small logo centered on a much larger transparent canvas. The builder may measure the full canvas rather than only the visible logo.
Set Every Design to Its Actual Print Size
Builder dimensions should represent how large you want the design to print on the garment. Do not rely only on how large the artwork looks inside your browser window.
Measure the intended print area on the actual shirt, hoodie, bag, or other garment. For important jobs, print a paper version at the proposed size, cut it out, and place it on the garment before building the final sheet.

How to Use More of Your Gang Sheet
Gang sheets are priced by the selected sheet size, so unused areas represent space that could have held additional transfers. The goal is to fill the sheet efficiently while leaving enough room to separate each design safely.
Repeat your main designs
Add the quantity you need for the current job and consider including useful extras for future replacements or repeat orders.
Fill gaps with small graphics
Neck labels, sleeve prints, pocket logos, and small brand marks can fit between larger front and back designs.
Plan for cutting
Place designs close enough to reduce wasted film but leave enough separation to cut them apart without damaging neighboring artwork.
Do not fill space with designs you will never use. Efficient layout means adding useful transfers—not merely making the preview look full.
