Custom apparel can become confusing quickly when one project uses more than one print placement. A shirt may need a small front logo, a larger back graphic, or different artwork for different parts of the same order.
DTFera provides ready-to-press DTF transfers for customers in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, with no minimum order requirement. That gives businesses, organizations, creators, and groups the flexibility to organize each graphic around the actual apparel project instead of forcing everything into one setup.
When a project uses several transfer positions, it helps to treat each placement as its own piece of artwork.
A small left-chest logo and a large back print may belong on the same shirt, but they should not be confused during ordering or pressing. Keeping clear file names and final print dimensions with each design makes the project easier to repeat later.
For example, instead of saving several files with generic names, organize them around their purpose, such as front logo, back graphic, sleeve graphic, or another placement used in the project.
Different placements usually require different artwork dimensions. A front chest mark should not automatically be enlarged into a full-back design, and a large graphic should not automatically be reduced without checking whether the smaller version still looks clean.
Each transfer should be prepared at the size you actually plan to press.
This is especially important when artwork includes small text, thin lines, detailed logos, or other elements that may look different after resizing.
When a project uses multiple graphics or transfer dimensions, a DTF Gang Sheet can make organizing the order easier.
The Gang Sheet Builder uses a 22-inch-wide print area and allows different graphics to be arranged together on the same sheet. This can be useful when one apparel project needs front logos, larger back graphics, or several different designs.
The goal is not simply to fill space. The goal is to build a sheet that contains the transfers you actually need for the project.
Not every order needs a gang sheet.
If you have one design and simply need several copies at the same transfer size, DTF Transfers by Size may be the easier option.
Choose an available individual transfer size, upload one design, and select the quantity you need.
This keeps straightforward projects straightforward instead of adding unnecessary layout work.
If your complete gang sheet is already designed and ready to print, you do not need to rebuild it in the online builder.
Use the Print-Ready Gang Sheet Upload for an already-completed gang sheet.
Before uploading, verify the overall sheet dimensions and make sure every graphic is positioned exactly where you want it.
Good transfer quality starts with properly prepared artwork.
For standard raster artwork, a high-resolution PNG with a transparent background is generally preferred when transparency is needed. Aim for approximately 300 DPI at the final intended print size.
Simply changing a low-resolution image to 300 DPI does not recreate detail that was already missing.
Check small lettering, thin edges, unwanted background pixels, and blurry or compressed areas before placing the order. Our DTF Learning Center includes additional artwork and pressing guidance.
DTF transfers are commonly used on cotton, polyester, cotton/poly blends, and many other compatible materials.
However, not every garment reacts to heat and pressure the same way. Nylon, coated fabrics, dye-sublimated garments, heat-sensitive materials, performance fabrics, and unfamiliar specialty garments may require testing or adjusted press conditions.
If you are working with a material you have not pressed before, test first rather than assuming one press setup works for every fabric.
